Operational Risk Assurance Analyst

Luminor Operational Risk Assurance team is responsible for providing risk based and objective assurance that operational risk is managed effectively across the Luminor Group.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake risk based assurance activities such as thematic reviews and detailed assessments of the risks and controls across Luminor’s business;
• Identify, analyze and assess risks and respective internal controls;
• Prepare Operational Risk Assurance reports, raise and agree findings on a risk based approach as required, ensuring that the review process and recommendations are realistic;
• Contribute to the maintenance and development of Operational Risk Assurance work programmes / assurance statements, recommend new approaches to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the assurance policy and process in the interest of all stakeholders;
• Contribute to the overall Operational Risk Assurance Annual and Quarterly Work Plans;
• Follow-up the implementation of agreed actions.

Additionally:
As a key member of the Operational Risk Assurance Team, you will support the Operational Risk Assurance Manager in carrying out reviews and assessments, and in the delivery of Operational Risk Assurance reports. You will act as part of Luminor’s second line of defense, independently monitoring, overseeing and controlling all aspects of operational risk management whilst offering constructive challenge to the business providing independent thinking and insight

Skills and Experience:

• Experience working with non-financial risk topics, operational risk, regulatory compliance or internal audit;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details and quality;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, strong communication skills with passion and a “can-do” attitude;
• Experience in working within deadlines, prioritizing as necessary;
• Project management skills and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to deliver on commitments;
• University education, relevant professional qualifications will be beneficial.
