Luminor Group

In digital transformation at Luminor bank our team is focusing on new IT developments in digital channels area. We run a diverse set of IT solutions in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, with a new Digital Channels platform on the way. We are highly involved in cooperation with external partners, while also running a list of developments ourselves.
Development Lead for Digital Channels will be a member of Channels and Integrations team in IT Development department. 

Your role in the team will be driving IT development for the following areas: 

- mobile banks, 

- android and ios applications.


Responsibilities:

1) Guide technical developments in digital channels: 

  • driving technical decisions in new developments
  • suggesting improvements in our current solutions
  • tracking new technology developments, and verifying their fit for Luminor

2) IT solution ownership in the area: 

  • following-up technological lifecycle, and initiating required changes
  • taking care of contracts and relationship with our partners (solution providers)

3) Shaping Luminor internal team(s) and setting expectations towards our partners: 

  • setting expectation for the skillset of technical teams 
  • keeping your own skills up to date, and sharing know-how with the team 

4) Ensure effective IT development process: 

  • have a good overview of IT development processes and tools, and drive improvements in the area 
  • ensure effective communication with business units, IT Operations, and external vendors 

5) Effective cross-Baltic cooperation

 

Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in software development
  • 2+ years in digital channels solutions (mobile)
  • Superior understanding of backend and front-end technologies (Java, Swift)
  • Experience with cloud and CI/CD - preferable
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Experience of working with vendors
  • Initiative and high level of responsibility
  • Higher education in Computer Science or another relevant area
  • Excellent English: fluent in any spoken and written communication
  • Excellent Communication, coordination and collaboration skills
