Compliance Control Expert

Responsibilities:

• Contributing to building regulatory compliance in the areas of consumer protection and insurance
• Proactively managing compliance risk across Luminor Group
• Monitoring compliance with external and internal regulations
• Providing advice and guidance with respect to the laws and regulations applying to business activities
• Managing and coordinating various regulatory and compliance projects
• Conducting trainings on regulatory requirements
• Preparing reports to the senior management
• Ensuring high quality deliveries and stakeholders' management 

Skills and Experience:

•  Master's degree in law
•  Solid background and extensive experience (5+ years) in banking and finance or similar area (work experience in a bank's legal or compliance function or law firm would be an advantage)
•  Self-motivation with the ability to work independently on pan-Baltic level, follow deadlines and effectively manage time
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, ability to explain complicated matters in an easy way
•  High ethical standards, strong sense of responsibility and commitment to results 
• Full working proficiency of English and Latvian languages (written and verbal)
