Customer Risk Management Unit Manager is trusted with a team of Junior Specialists, Specialists, Senior Specialists and Team Leads whose professional development, high level of commitment and daily performance is the key accountability for ensuring KYC (incl. EDD and OEDD), AML and Sanctions principles and regulatory requirements execution for all customer segments.

  • Organize daily job of the team and ensure efficient execution of KYC and Alert monitoring processes.
  • Prepare and update of internal guidelines and instructions, based on the Baltic level procedures.
  • Have deep knowledge and understanding of Luminor Risk appetite and AML/CFT standards and implement these into internal processes.
  • Guidance and training within Luminor with respect to AML/CFT standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and 1:1 meetings with team members and ensure proper information flow.
  • Maintain and improve the AML knowledge and competences of the team.
  • Collaborate and align key principles across the bank, especially with Compliance team and Segment lines.
  • Initiate process improvements to ensure pan-Baltic alignment and process efficiency.
  • Contribute to create great customer experience.
  • Organize, engage and motivate employees within your area of responsibility through building the strong team, coaching and holding direct reports accountable and developing talent in the function/unit.
  • Contribute to team and company performance through effective networking, collaboration and leading through example.
  • Promote and support living the Luminor values and building the strong Luminor brand.

Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience in the financial sector or similar with having AML and/or financial crime experience
  • Good experience and professional skills in KYC area (CDD/EDD/OEDD)
  • Awareness of Baltic and European regulatory requirements related to banking and financial services in AML/CFT, fraud and sanctions areas
  • High commitment to the current and prospective KYC needs, keeping oneself pro-actively updated on the upcoming (regulatory) changes
  • Process management, business mindset, innovation and business development
  • Strategical and analytical way of thinking
  • Suitable interpersonal skills: trustworthiness, ability to maintain confidentiality and to manage sensitive information
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration, communication
  • Excellent leadership, people management and development, coaching skills
  • Full working proficiency in English and Lithuania language
