Our team is expanding and we are looking for a new team member.

The Credit Methodology Expert will be joining the Luminor Credit Risk Department and be responsible for developing a framework for prudent credit risk management and ensure compliance of the framework with external regulations. Credit risk department is a part of the Risk Division, thus being a control function and part of the Second Line of Defence.

  • Be a key owner of credit risk related methodologies, develop and maintain internal regulatory framework for credit risk from a 2nd Line of defence perspective ensuring compliance to the external regulations and satisfying business ambition;
  • Follow up of external regulations on credit risk;
  • Proactively participate in the identification and assessment of compliance risks, business risks and improvement potential in the credit risk methodology area;
  • Contribute to development and deployment of the best practices for methodology on credit risk area;
  • Review external risk related reporting and ensure description of credit risk methodology (financial reporting, Pillar 3 reporting, ICAAP process etc);
  • Own IFRS 9 Expected credit loss estimation framework in line with an agreed split of roles and responsibilities between Finance and Risk Divisions.

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements in the credit risk management area;
  • Detailed understanding of the credit risk framework to manage the credit risk effectively;
  • Good knowledge of the credit products, processes and IT systems;
  • Strong in problem solving, superior analytical skills, accuracy and ability to make independent decisions with sound and objective arguments; 
  • Time management, high commitment to achieve results and meet set goals;
  • Excellent English language skills (verbal and written);
  • Ready to contribute with a high level of energy and positive attitude.
