Now after the transformation we are looking to grow and strengthen our team.

Lending Expert ensures customer needs, business targets and risk appetite-oriented approach, makes decisions for unsecured and long-term loans. Follows Luminor’s values – collaboration, focus and curiosity in daily work life with colleagues and customers.  Lending Competence Center Unit handles credit applications in a timely and professional manner and brings credit matters and customer experience to the next level.  


Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional analysis of loan and limit applications (mortgages and leasing) 
  • Defend applications at decision-making authority
  • Ensure proper preparation of loan documents and submission of all documents required for monitoring the credit quality
  • Support and provide solutions for Sales units in complicated credit cases
  • Communicate and ensure excellent customer service 
  • Ensure data quality and provide input of different data in bank systems and programs in accordance with existing quality standards and procedures
  • Ensure high quality in the preparation of loan projects
  • Inform direct manager or department manager and operational risk management about operational risk incidents, frauds, mistakes, and cases that can cause Bank financial or reputation risks or can lead to loses within action or inaction of employees


Skills and Experience:

  • At least 1 year experience in Banking sector (knowledge of banking services, products, systems)
  • Knowledge of credit processes and credit strategy
  • Experience with mortgage loans or leasing will be considered as advantage
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and analytical skills (customer financial and operational analysis)
  • Champion of Customer Service
  • Result oriented and solution focused with high problem solving abilities
  • Time management skills and ability to use resources efficiently
  • Excellent communication, fluency in Latvian, English and Russian (both oral and written)
