Role description:

In digital transformation at Luminor bank our team is focusing on new IT developments in Digital Channels and Integrations area. We run a diverse set of IT solutions in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. We are highly involved in cooperation with external partners, while also running a list of developments ourselves.

Development Lead will be a member of Channels and Integrations Unit in IT Development department. Your role in the team will be driving IT development for the following areas: 

  • Digital Channels
  • Corporate Digital Channels

 

Responsibilities:

  • Guide technical developments in integrations by:

- driving technical decisions in new developments
- suggesting improvements in our current solutions
- tracking new technology developments and verifying their fit for Luminor.

  • IT solution ownership in the area by:

- following-up technological lifecycle and initiating required changes
- taking care of contracts and relationship with our partners (solution providers).

  • Shaping Luminor internal team(s) and setting expectations towards our partners by:

- setting expectation for the skillset of technical teams
- keeping your own skills up to date, and sharing know-how with the team.

  • Ensure effective IT development process:

- have a good overview of IT development processes and tools, and drive improvements in the area.
- ensure effective communication with business units, IT Operations, and external vendors.

  • Effective cross-Baltic cooperation.


Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in software development
  • 2+ years in integration solutions
  • Superior understanding of backend and front-end technologies (Java, React / Angular JS, RESTful APIs)
  • Experience with cloud and CI/CD is preferable
  • Initiative and high level of responsibility
  • Fluent English
  • Excellent Communication and Coordination skills
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Experience of working with vendors
  • Teamwork
  • Innovation
