We are looking for a strong Senior Analyst to join Model Risk & Validation Department in Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia. Model Validation Senior Analyst is expected to drive qualitative and quantitative validation of risk models used for credit decision making, IFRS 9, stress-testing or ICAAP and ILAAP in Luminor.

  • Periodically perform and drive quantitative and qualitative validation or risk models used for credit decision making, IFRS 9, internal stress-testing and ICAAP/ILAAP
  • Drive the development and maintenance of requirements for validation of various other models in Luminor
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Model Risk Management Framework
  • Outline and discuss model risk related findings with different stakeholders within Luminor
  • Prepare and present validation reports for approval


  • Perform personal tasks with commitment and according to Luminor values
  • Contribute to team and company performance and collaboration
  • Support and guide more junior colleagues
  • Take responsibility in professional self-development

Skills and experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in validation or development of various risk models
  • Strong knowledge of statistical and predictive modelling concepts and hands-on experience working with large amounts of data
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for validation of risk models (IRB, IFRS 9, ICAAP and ILAAP models)
  • Good understanding of bank’s credit products, experience in building risk management frameworks would be considered as serious advantage
  • Higher education in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Finance, Economics, or similar field
  • Good communication in English (written and verbal)
