We are looking for open-minded team member to Data Engineering & Science team to help Luminor in building a data-savvy and customer-centric new generation digital bank!
Our team provides BI and Advanced Analytics services for all key business areas and functions of the Bank. We deliver broad range of data and visualization products, and advanced analytics and data science solutions to support operational, tactical and strategic initiatives in the Bank. In daily work, Data Scientist acts as a member of agile cross-functional team jointly working with Product Owners, Data Engineers and business stakeholders to deliver business-oriented analytics and data science solutions.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Work within cross-functional agile team to deliver descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics outcome and models
- Use broad range of statical methods and (advanced) modelling techniques to deliver business outcomes
- Execute delivered models life-cycle management
- Collaborate with product owners, data engineers and data scientists to improve data science delivery process
- Keep up to date with data science advancements and developments, and apply them in daily practices
Your Qualifications and Technical Skills
- B.S. or M.S. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, (Software) Engineering, Physics or similar quantitative majors
- Experience 2+years in advanced analytics and data science field
- Strong mathematical and statistical skills
- Computer Science fundamentals
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, R)
- Data search and management (including database querying/SQL)
- Data visualization and reporting
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional project team
Meriting experience, competences
- Preferable working experience with Agile and similar modern delivery methodologies
- Experience in financial services
Your Non-technical Skills
- Ability to translate business problems to data science and vice versa
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good data visualization and storytelling
- Ability to build a shared understanding of the problems and determine potential solution
- Ability to be self-organized, balanced and show initiative
