Do you genuinely enjoy the art of creating a story out of data? We are looking for a new team member who will use their skills and experience to ensure data-based business decisions at Luminor. Data Analyst will join Customer Insights and Design Unit and will focus on understanding our customer and their behavior better, by doing data analyses, reports and data visualizations to business experts and stakeholders.
What You Will Do:
- Data extractions: Acquire data according to requirements from primary or secondary data sources to support communication and business processes with data input
- Data analyses: Interpret data, analyze results (for example, by using statistical techniques), prepare data visualizations, propose actions based on the results of analysis
- Reporting: Build and update reports, dashboards or find other ways to present data to related parties
- Visualizations and presentations: Present analysis results in easy to read and attractive ways
- Testing business hypotheses: Understand business needs of data related processes/tasks and create business-value hypotheses to test with data analysis
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with stakeholders during analysis process to ensure requirements of deliveries quality assurance
- Tasks planning: Understand business needs and take these into account in planning the approach for analyses, data extractions etc. in a way which creates most value for business
What We Expect:
- 1+ years professional experience in data analysis / data engineering / data science or in similar area
- Advanced understanding and working knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL
- Familiarity and experience with common BI and Data exploration tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Advanced visualization and verbal presentation skills
- Business value-driven mindset: demonstrable experience delivering business value through data analyses or reporting
- Attention to details and genuine enjoyment of the art of creating a story out of data
- College/University degree in IT, Economics, Math, Business Management or related fields
- Fluency in English, both in spoken and written
Good to have:
- Professional experience in the IT/Finance field will be considered an advantage
- Understanding and previous experience with ETL & BI Orchestration Tools (e.g. KNIME, SAS Enterprise Guide, Alteryx etc.)
- Fluent in one or more programming or scripting languages (i.e. Python)
- Experience with CLV (Customer lifetime value) model development will be considered as an advantage
