Credit Risk Reporting Intern

In this role you will be involved in developing and improving reports in Power BI tool, automate calculations performed in Excel, as well as recreating in Power BI reports currently built in Tableau BI tool. There might also be additional tasks assigned from the variety of ongoing credit risk management projects.

You will gain great practical experience applying theoretical knowledge in banking area, knowledge of regulatory requirements in credit risk management area. In addition, you will improve skills working with Tableau BI & Power BI tools to next level (working with large amounts of credit risk data).

We expect you to  have basics understanding of credit products, underlying processes and IT systems, as well as data processing and risk analysis knowledge. Financial analysis skills would also be preferred. Soft skills should include superior analytical thinking and decision making skills as well as great time management skills, high commitment to achieve results. Fluent English & Latvian are required in spoken and written communication. Preferred education in Finance, Business, Economics, Statistics or related.

Risk Analytics Intern

In this role you will be involved in investigating and identifying potential model improvements of existing modelling methodologies and applied data, challenging the status quo by utilizing new and better predictive methods and modelling techniques. It is also expected that alternatives for currently existing approaches are suggested and presented.

You will gain the practical experience of applying and trying out the concepts of the most attractive and fastest developing Risk Disciplines of the 21st century - Risk Modelling and Model Risk Management.

We expect you to have good understanding of mathematical/statistical concepts needed for predictive modelling description, forecasting and time series analysis, as well as good communication and presentation skills, ability to create a highly professional written material. Soft skills should include analytical thinking and decision making skills as well as initiative to learn and innovation mindset. Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication. Preferred education in Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Econometrics or related.
