Due Diligence Intern

In this role in our Due Diligence team you will be responsible for communicating with customers via remote channels (e-mail, internet banking) to collect necessary information (e.g. KYC update, clarifications about executed transactions). You will also collect, analyze and verify information between different sources using systems, public databases, and other records. You may as well have a need to make some reports showcasing the results of your findings too.

You will gain great customer service experience, knowledge about collecting & processing customer data, working with data bases and will get to know the areas of due diligence and anti financial crime a bit better in general. You will see how the backstage of banking operations look like.

We expect you to have interest in customer service and working with customer data, great communication skills as well as good information processing skills & attention to details. Fluent Latvian and professional English is required in spoken and written communication. Preferred education in Law, Economics, Business Management, Finance or related.

AFC Operations Governance Intern

In the AFC Operations tea you will be participating in mapping of KYC (know your customer) forms/information of bank and subsidiaries that are made to collect customer data and other records. You will be able to work on improvements of the internal regulations owned by AFC Operations team to ensure their compliance with internal and external requirements. We expect you to explore engage in daily tasks operated by the team and extend your knowledge and expertise by being exposed to real-life tasks.

You will gain experience in one of the most interesting areas in the bank - anti financial crime, how to collect customer data as well as how to make sure the KYC operations run smoothly. You will see how the backstage of banking operations look like. 

We expect you to be a quick learner, who is interested in anti financial crime and compliance areas, with high sense of responsibility and ownership as well as attention to detail. Fluent English and Latvian are required in spoken and written communication. Preferred education in Economics, Finance, Law or related.

AFC Analytics Intern (Product Analyst)

AFC Analytics team is occupied with developing, optimizing and maintaining anti financial crime technology through data driven insights. By joining the AFC Analytics team your internship responsibilities will include assisting the team in the preparation and maintenance of product documentation combined with support product testing and quality assurance activities. In addition, you will also assist in the development and tracking of product roadmaps. In some cases you will get a chance to perform ad-hoc analytical tasks on existing development pipeline, system improvements etc.

You will gain experience in one of the most interesting areas in the bank anti financial crime, especially from a more analytical and data driven perspective. 

We expect you to have basic knowledge of the Bank products as well as understanding of process management. Experience in data analysis, visualization would also be a great advantage. Soft skills required for the role include thoroughness, accuracy and high sense of ownership as well as good analytical skills and time planning. Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication. Preferred education in IT, Data, Economics or related.
