What You Will Do:

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions to protect AWS environments or assets in AWS environments.
• Participate in design and deployment of AWS environments and components.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats.
• Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies.
• Automate security processes and workflows using scripting and AWS tools.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technology advancements.

What We Expect: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on cloud. 3+ years of experience in AWS engineering & architecting.
• AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent preferred
• Proficiency in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency in DevOps practices & Infrastructure-as-Code creation and asset deployment.
• Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and key management.
• Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, container security).
• Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level
