As a Performance Testing Engineer, your mission is to ensure our systems are robust, scalable, and high-performing. You will design and execute performance testing strategies, with a strong focus on Apache JMeter, to identify bottlenecks and optimize system behavior under load. Your work will directly contribute to the reliability and efficiency of our digital banking solutions.
What You Will Do:
- Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests using Apache JMeter
- Analyze test results and system metrics to identify performance issues and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Create and maintain performance test scripts, scenarios, and test data
- Monitor system behavior under load using tools like Grafana, InfluxDB, or similar
- Document performance benchmarks, test results, and tuning recommendations
- Participate in architecture and design reviews to provide performance insights
- Support post-deployment performance validation and troubleshooting
- Continuously improve performance testing practices and frameworks
What We Expect:
- Proven experience in performance testing with a strong command of Apache JMeter
- Solid understanding of performance metrics, system bottlenecks, and tuning techniques
- Familiarity with monitoring and profiling tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic)
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker
- Understanding of web technologies, APIs, and backend systems
- Ability to interpret logs, system metrics, and database performance indicators
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working at the Pan-Baltic level
