What you will do as a Senior Java Software Engineer:
- Come up with solution designs and architecture for Cloud-native software
- Lead the development and maintenance of complex software systems following IT standards and requirements
- Ensure the performance, quality, and maintainability of applications
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment
- Support team members and share knowledge within the organization
- Create and maintain documentation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive
What We Expect:
- Strong Java 21+ development experience and its frameworks like Spring, Spring boot 3.0+, and tools like Jenkins, Git, Java module system, Maven, and Docker
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native deployments (preferably AWS), Kubernetes
- Experience with message handling, S3 file processing, and asynchronous flow redirection
- Familiarity with XML parsing, transformation, and validation logic
- Experience addressing technical debt, writing clean code, and automating tests
- Proven experience and strong knowledge in banking IT solutions is a huge plus
- Strong knowledge of microservice architecture
- Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level
