As a Senior AFC Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our AML/CFT compliance framework is strong, up to date, and aligned across the Group. You’ll lead the development of procedures, support risk-based decision-making, and drive improvements that help us stay ahead of regulatory expectations.
What You Will Do:
- Ensure regulatory requirements are met and lead the development, approval, and maintenance of Group-wide AML/CFT/CFP and DAC procedures, including customer due diligence, record-keeping, and internal information sharing
- Regularly review and update procedures to keep them effective and compliant
- Drive process improvements in AML/CFT and DAC areas to ensure efficiency and alignment across the Baltics
- Apply a risk-based approach to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, and support ongoing compliance through controls, training, and stakeholder communication
- Collaborate with teams across the bank, leasing, and pension companies to align key principles
- Support AFC Officers by advising on complex or escalated AML/CFT/DAC cases
- Provide expert guidance to business units and ensure smooth cooperation and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to the development of risk mitigation measures and suggest improvements to systems and tools
What We Expect:
- Profound awareness of Baltic and European regulatory requirements related to banking and financial services in general/Legal background
- Strong knowledge and experience of best practices in managing AFC risks associated with the bank business model
- Experience in AFC area at least 3 years
- Good cross-functional and cross border cooperation skills
- Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level
