What You Will Do:
- Design and develop custom solutions in NAV 2016 and 2013 using C/AL and C/SIDE
- Maintain and support existing NAV systems, ensuring performance and reliability
- Build integrations with external systems using web services, XMLports, and APIs
- Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations and deployments
- Optimize system performance and refactor inefficient code
- Implement role-based security and ensure compliance with data protection standards
- Support data migration and refactor customizations for Business Central upgrades
What We Expect:
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV development (NAV 2016 or 2013 preferred)
- Strong proficiency in C/AL, C/SIDE, and core NAV development tools
- Experience with building customizations, reports, pages, tables, and codeunits
- Hands-on knowledge of integrating NAV with external systems using SOAP/OData, XMLports, and APIs
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for NAV applications
- Familiarity with SQL Server (T-SQL, indexing, performance tuning)
- Understanding of role-based security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR)
- Excellent documentation and version control practices
- Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level
Nice to have:
- Experience in Upgrades and Data Migration
- Experience in performing data migrations using RapidStart or custom tools
- Skills in migrating legacy customizations into events/subscribers when feasible, to ensure readiness for upgrades
- Basic knowledge of the AL language and extensions, preparing for future migration to Business Central
