As a Data Protection Officer in Latvia in Compliance Division, you will be responsible for managing Data Protection Officer’s tasks, collaborating with team members across all Luminor Division, focusing on local and pan-Baltic presence and working on other tasks and projects alongside other Data Protection Officers.
What You Will Do:
Act as the contact point for the Luminor Group on data protection issues and inform and advise Luminor’s employees of their obligations under the GPDR and other data protection laws
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy-by-design principles into projects and initiatives
Monitor compliance with the GDPR, with other data protection laws and with Luminor Data Protection Policies, Standards and Procedures, including the assignment of responsibilities, awareness-raising and training of staff, and the related audits
Act as the contact point for the Data Protection Authority in Latvia on issues relating to personal data processing
Decide upon reporting data breaches to the Data Protection Authority, when required by the GDPR and prepare needed documentation for reporting
Report data protection risks to stakeholders and management
What We Expect:
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in data protection, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing robust data privacy measures
Banking industry experience is appreciated
In-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations
Strong understanding of organizational data flows and information security practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams to engage stakeholders
Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification is highly desirable.
Advanced English and Latvian language skills: fluent spoken and written communication in both

Gross salary. 2800 - 4300 EUR/month, which is to be determined depending on your level of experience and competencies
