We seek a Data Platform Delivery Lead with expertise in Data Mesh and Data as Product principles. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of complex initiatives, ensuring alignment with requirements, and managing cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope. You will act as the key point of contact between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and risk management throughout the delivery lifecycle.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish best practices and enable data democratization across the organization.
The candidate will have a strong technical background and development experience, and an understanding of modern data technologies and best practices.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Develop and execute the vision and strategy for our data platform, aligning with the bank’s goals and business objectives
Oversee the architecture of data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
Implement data governance policies, ensuring data quality, privacy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, DORA)
Lead end-to-end delivery, ensuring timely and quality outcomes. Monitor and report on delivery progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders
Manage planning, prioritization, and execution of initiatives in alignment with enterprise objectives
Ensure adherence to risk management practices and compliance requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle
Support budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management for assigned initiatives
Manage a team of software engineers, actively contribute to team performance through leadership, coaching, and fostering a culture of accountability and transparency
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects in mid-to-large organizations
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
Experience with Agile and/or hybrid delivery methodologies
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software engineering
Understanding the design and development of streaming and batch Data Pipelines in Cloud-native Data Platforms environments
Experience in API development and event-driven systems
Solid understanding of data governance, security best practices, and compliance standards
Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level

Gross salary. 6,000 - 8,800 EUR/month, which is to be determined depending on your level of experience and competencies
