ICT Risk & Compliance Assurance Officer

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive professional to support ICT operational risk, compliance, and audit activities within the CIO Office. In this role, you will help strengthen governance practices, enhance reporting and assurance capabilities, and drive continuous improvement across the division. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, control functions, and auditors while contributing to strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment with relevant policies, standards, and regulatory expectations.
*The title of the role in the contract will be Process Excellence Specialist.
How You Will Make an Impact as an ICT Risk & Compliance Assurance Officer:
Contribute to the rollout and oversight of ICT operational risk, compliance, and audit processes within the CIO Office
Keep documentation up to date and ensure timely follow‑through on all risk, compliance, and audit‑related actions
Develop assurance dashboards, prepare reports, and support the creation of materials for governance committees
Monitor the status of ICT operational risk, compliance, and audit activities, engaging with accountable stakeholders to drive progress
Offer insights, guidance, and recommendations to strengthen ICT operational risk management practices
Promote a culture that values continuous improvement, innovation, learning, and balanced risk‑taking
Support the coordination of divisional strategic initiatives and performance reporting efforts
Collaborate with internal control teams as well as external auditors and supervisory bodies
Ensure ongoing awareness and understanding of applicable policies, standards, and external regulatory expectations
Perform additional related tasks as needed to support the function’s objective
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Proven experience in ICT operational risk management, compliance, or internal control processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information and make sound risk-based decisions
Excellent planning, prioritization, and documentation skills
Effective stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills, including with senior leadership
Proficiency with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence), MS365 applications, Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
Experience with IT and Information Security frameworks (ITIL, NIST) and IT governance frameworks
Experience working in agile environments and/or familiarity with business agility frameworks
Strong project management skills, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Good awareness of regulatory requirements and guidelines relevant to technology teams
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Security, Business Management, or Risk Management (preferred)
Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, Information Security, or Agile Delivery are preferred
Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level

Gross salary. 4,000 - 6,000 EUR/month. The final offer will depend on the level of your experience and competencies
