What You Will Do:
- Ensure following procedures and deliveries are in place: - Group Financial Plan, - Quarterly Group Forecasts, - Target cascading, - Budget transfers, - Monthly Performance report, - Quarterly Peer benchmarking
- Ownership of Central Financial Planning tool
- Creation and Maintenance of annual Finance Calendar, aligned with all stakeholders
- Coordination of central finance tasks – ECB data requests, insights on group level to shareholder and etc.
- Support to Head of Performance Management – acting as Deputy of Department, participation in different committees as delegated
- Support to CEO and CFO with financial inputs for strategy review, strategic initiatives, and for other ad hoc requests
- Outputs to Financial Risk management (ICAAP, RAF, Recovery plan)
- Contribution to the development of strong management team (In PM and CFO area) and effective collaboration with other Luminor teams such as Risk, Technology, Business areas and external stakeholders.
Leadership tasks and responsibilities:
- Define and clarify the expectations and responsibilities of subordinates’ roles and ensure the understanding how they align with team’s and Luminor’ s strategic goals and values.
- Empower subordinates to define their own measurable objectives that are consistent with the team’s and Luminor’ s vision and ensure that subordinates prioritize and execute their tasks effectively
- Enable subordinates to deal effectively with their responsibilities, delegate the necessary authority in line with employee performance and seniority, bring high energy to support, follow up-on work.
- Foster the growth and potential of subordinates: deliver timely and constructive feedback on results, leverage regular 1:1 session as coaching opportunity, guide through inquiry and ensure that learning activities are prioritized
- Select the right talent to the right roles, take care of successful onboarding, wellbeing of team and manage underperformance timely. Ensure that relevant succession and development plans are in place, recommend promoting people with further potential
- Promote and execute a risk culture in the team that addresses risk awareness and risk-taking behavior, convey the messages from the Management Board to the team, ensure training of team on risk management, support the team in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities, and escalate risk-related issues.
What We Expect:
- 3+ years manager experience
- Banking experience or experience in big finance companies (e.g. big 4) is an advantage
- Experienced within financial planning processes and modelling
- Good understanding of ICAAP processes and Treasury activities would be considered as advantage
- Finance reporting and planning
- Budget management skills
- Coaching and people development
- Cross functional and cross border cooperation skills
- Strong commercial mindset
- Thoroughness, accuracy, and accountability
- Strong communicator who can handle various stakeholders (team, management board, shareholders
- Dedicated to creating high performing teams
- Ability to make decisions quickly and time planning skills
- Presentation skills and impact
- Decision making ability
- Higher - any degree in Finance, Business Management
- Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level
