As a Climate Transition Advisor, your mission is to play a key role in supporting Luminor´s commitment to climate neutrality by assisting corporate clients in their transition to a low-carbon economy. This individual ensures that client engagement is aligned with the institution’s broader sustainability commitments, providing expertise on carbon reduction strategies and facilitating informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Client ESG risk assessment: Supporting relationship managers in assessing customer ESG and transition risks, consulting on possible mitigation actions
Client Engagement Support: Work alongside client relationship managers to prepare for meetings with corporate customers, providing tailored climate transition insights and strategic recommendations
Carbon Reduction Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of client-specific opportunities for carbon reduction, including industry benchmarking, regulatory implications, and investment feasibility
Provide expert advice on:
Customers´ climate transition plans to achieve their sustainability goals and comply with climate transition plan requirements, including reducing carbon footprints and adapting to climate change risks
Evaluating customers’ KPIs against Luminor's environmental KPIs
Integrating sustainability into business strategies, operations, and corporate governance
Understanding of environmental regulations, standards, and reporting requirements
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Competence to evaluate environmental, social, and governance risks effectively
Proficiency in analyzing and benchmarking carbon emissions to inform sustainability strategies
Knowledge of various financial tools, such as green bonds and sustainability-linked loans, to facilitate the transition to low-carbon operations
Familiarity with key regulations and reporting standards (e.g., GHG Protocol, EU climate regulations)
Understanding of sector-specific decarbonization pathways and best practices for implementing effective climate transition strategies
Strong knowledge of EU and global climate policies, disclosure requirements, and sustainability standards
Competence and curiosity to learn about emerging technologies and industry best practices related to climate transition and sustainability
Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level

Gross salary. 2,980 - 4,460 EUR/month, which is to be determined depending on your level of experience and competencies
