Whoever you are, and whatever your role is, with Luminor you will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build a local banking champion.
We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to join our Transactions domain and play a critical role in shaping the security posture of our Payments, Cards, Financial markets, Investments, Cash management, and Anti-Financial Crime services. In this role, you will provide hands-on security expertise throughout the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
This is a key position where you will influence architectural decisions, elevate security engineering practices, and guide teams in delivering secure, resilient, and compliant financial industry solutions.
You will further develop your professional skills through close collaboration with experienced international colleagues and exposure to the latest cloud and security technologies.
What You Will Do:
Security Architecture & Advisory
Act as the lead Security SME for the Transactions domain, defining security requirements and guiding secure solution design.
Advise technology and business stakeholders by reviewing architectures, validating requirements, and recommending secure design approaches.
Risk Assessment & Assurance
Perform security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and threat analyses, providing clear remediation guidance.
Ensure security controls are correctly implemented and coordinate assurance activities such as vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and audits.
Regulatory & Standards Compliance
Oversee ongoing compliance with DORA, PCI DSS, and related standards.
Own technical PCI DSS competence, translating regulatory requirements into actionable architecture and engineering controls.
Secure Engineering Enablement
Integrate application security practices (SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA) into CI/CD pipelines and define security quality gates.
Support vulnerability triage and guide secure adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-driven tooling.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Build strong cross-team relationships to drive pragmatic, consistent security outcomes.
Contribute to information protection strategies, security initiatives, and domain-wide maturity improvements.
What We Expect:
Experience in security architecture, risk assessment, and secure systems engineering—ideally within financial services or other highly regulated environments.
Strong practical and technical knowledge of PCI DSS or similar, including scoping, segmentation, encryption, access control, secure data handling, and logging.
Hands-on experience with application security tooling and integrating security controls into modern CI/CD workflows.
Ability to communicate complex security topics clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for building secure, resilient solutions.
Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication
