As an intern in the AFC Investigations Unit, you will support investigation processes, collect and analyze information, and help ensure the high-quality and timely handling of customer requests. This is an excellent opportunity for students and young professionals to develop their analytical skills, learn about banking operations, and gain experience in an international and professional environment.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Collect, analyze, and verify information from various sources using internal systems, public databases, and other records
Prepare and send requests to clients in a timely and professional manner, ensuring efficient case handling and follow-up
Prepare reports on work progress
Contribute to a positive work environment by collaborating with colleagues in a constructive and professional manner, providing honest feedback, and promoting high performance within the team
Provide support for other ad hoc activities of the Sanctions Investigation Team as assigned by the process owner, team manager, or department head
Contribute to team and company results through effective collaboration and by working with energy, enthusiasm, and commitment.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Higher education in Law, Business Administration, or Finance (final year students are also encouraged to apply)
Ability to take initiative and a strong sense of responsibility
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Strong analytical thinking skills and attention to detail
High ethical standards, professionalism, and the ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn and develop professionally
Excellent Latvian and English language skills, both spoken and written, as the role involves communication with colleagues across all Baltic countries
