We are looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Regulatory Officer to join our Compliance Division. In this role, you will coordinate regulatory interactions with supervisory authorities, support regulatory inspections and initiatives, and contribute to strengthening regulatory governance across Luminor Group.
What You Will Do:
Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities, ensuring clear, timely and high-quality responses to regulatory inquiries and supervisory requests
Build and maintain trusted relationships with supervisory authorities and key stakeholders across Luminor Group
Lead or contribute to regulatory projects, supervisory inspections (on-site and off-site) and strategic regulatory initiatives across multiple areas and jurisdictions
Identify, assess and support the mitigation of regulatory risks, providing pragmatic, risk-based and compliance-oriented guidance aligned with supervisory expectations
Contribute to developing, maintaining and improving processes, internal regulations and governance for standardized handling of supervisory inquiries and strategic regulatory activities (including on-site and off-site inspections)
Monitor, challenge and escalate regulatory deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality execution
Coordinate input from different divisions and contribute to regular reporting of key regulatory affairs matters to senior management
Promote a sound risk and compliance culture by raising awareness of major supervisory and regulatory initiatives
What We Expect:
Experience in legal / regulatory affairs / compliance or in the financial banking sector
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex matters clearly and professionally
Strong stakeholders management skills and the ability to work closely with different internal and external stakeholders
Proven ability to manage large projects, coordinate multiple contributors and drive work forward in a structured way
Good understanding of financial sector regulations, supervisory expectations and regulatory risk management
Strong professional judgement and the ability to provide pragmatic, compliance-oriented guidance
Able to build structure from scratch and work well even in ambiguous situations Comfortable starting from zero, building structure and operating effectively in ambiguity
Ability to help build, improve and embed processes, internal regulations and governance frameworks
Experience with supervisory inspections, regulatory initiatives or remediation programmes is an advantage
Fluent English and local language is required in spoken and written communication

Gross salary. 3700 - 4800 EUR/month, which is to be determined depending on your level of experience and competencies
