Luminor Treasury is the largest independent treasury team in the Baltics. We are the largest issuer of investment grade debt as well as one of the largest local investors into government debt of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Treasury team manages capital, funding and liquidity of Luminor and transacts financial derivatives for risk management purposes. Through the combination of these Treasury activities, we generate up to one-fifth of Luminor’s profits, alongside the Retail and Corporate business units.
As a Senior Financial Data Analyst, your mission is to source internal and external data, map and automate data flows, maintain systems, create visualisations and dashboards to ensure data-driven analytics for Treasury decision making.

How You Will Make an Impact:
Work in cross-functional teams to support Treasury’s liquidity, funding and capital management objectives.
Participate in Treasury projects and collaborate with Product Owners, IT Delivery Leads, Business Analysts and Treasury stakeholders on topics such as liquidity forecasting, funding, securitisation and debt instruments.
Support Treasury analytics, reporting and decision-making through data-driven insights.
Support ILAAP, ICAAP and other capital, liquidity and regulatory assessment processes.
Create loan tapes, manage collateral pools and optimise collateral allocation across funding programmes.
Use SQL, Python, R and other analytical tools for data analysis, reporting and process automation.
Maintain Treasury reporting datasets, investigate reporting issues and data discrepancies, and identify root causes.
Build dashboards and management reports using Tableau, Power BI and related reporting tools.
Translate Treasury business needs into IT requirements and leverage AI-enabled solutions to improve processes, data quality and decision-making.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Previous experience in coding, data analytics, IT/business analysis, Treasury, Financial Planning, or financial reporting within financial services, banking, or fintech, with willingness to develop complementary skills across both business and technical areas.
Experience or strong interest in learning SQL, Python, R or other relevant programming and analytics tools.
Experience with data warehousing and data visualisation tools would be an advantage.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of, or interest in learning, Treasury products and activities such as FX derivatives, interest rate swaps, fixed income instruments, nostro, securitisation, and liquidity and capital management.
Understanding or strong interest in learning deposit dynamics, loan dynamics, mortgage products, broader banking products, the competitive environment in the Baltics and Luminor’s key strengths.
Knowledge of, or strong interest in learning, the regulatory frameworks, laws and regulations under which banks operate would be preferred.
Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level.

Gross salary. 3700-5000 EUR/month, which is to be determined depending on your level of experience and competencies
